He was buried with hia first wife, 24th December, 1599. His ehlest sou. The Rev.Hexki- Bbioht, the learned and aeeomplislied t'aeon of Worcestcr, was baptised at St. Peter's, 26th October, 1562, was Df Balliol College, Oxford ; Prebendary of Worcester Cathedral, 1(U9, and liead master of King's Seliool, Worcester, for forty years ; he is i eferrod to by Fuller, and also by Wood, in his Fasti. He m. Johanne, daughter of Rowland Berkeley, of Speteliley, and Cotheridge, co. Worcester, and sister of Sir Robert Berkeley, Knt., a judge of the King's Bench, by whom (who m. secondly, Edward AxxEstET, of Brookend, co. Oxford, and was living Ifiih May. 1038) he had issue (w)th two other daugnter), Robert, his heir. Mary, baptised at Worcester Cathedral, 7l'h June. 1590. This latter family possessed the estate called "J'he Hoar," in the parish of Cohvall, which was settled on their mother at her marriage; their descendants continued there till 1765, when the es'ate descended to 2 G 2
