FRENCH OR FRIED BREAD

  • MATERIALS
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • Salt
  • Fat for Frying

  • UTENSILS
  • Bowl
  • Dover beater
  • Frying-pan
  • Long-handled fork


DIRECTIONS

  1. Beat the egg in a bowl, and stir the milk and salt in with it.
  2. Dip each slice of bread in the beaten egg and milk.
  3. Fry the slices in hot fat in a frying-pan, until well browned on both sides.


REMARKS

Serve plain, or with maple syrup.
