Dec. 21, 1/68, and succeeded his brother, May 14, 1811; was Chairman of Committees in the House of Lords: m. Dec. 10, 1/96, Lady Anne Spencer, daughter of the 4th Duke of Marlborough ; and d. June 2, 1851, having had issue six sons and four daughters. Her ladyship d. in 1865.
