Richard Longworthe was collated 9th Nov. 1567. He resigned this stall on being made dean of Chester. Francis Bunnye was collated 9th May, and installed 13th May 1572, and died 17th April 1617. Francis Burgoyne was installed 6th May 1617, and died in 1633. Anthony Maxton was collated 23rd May 1633, and died about 1641. John Barwick succeeded, and resigned it for the fourth prebend about 1642. Robert Gray was collated by bishop Morton about 1643, ^^^^ ^^^ *^^^ installed until 2nd Nov. 1660. He died about 1704. Robert Offley was presented 22nd July 1 704, and installed on the 28th of the same month. James Leslie was presented 6th June 1743. Robert Lowth was presented 22nd Oct. 1755. He became bishop of Oxford, and afterwards of London. Richard Kaye was presented 23rd June 1777. Charles Poyntz was presented 12th Jan. 17B4. David Durell was presented 21st July 1809. William F. Raymond, 1846. NINTH STALL. Nicholas Mar ley was appointed 12th May 1541, by the foundation charter, and deprived in 1560. Thomas Horton was presented by queen Elizabeth 15th Jan. 1560-61. William Stephenson or Stevinson was installed 28th Jan. 1560-61. He died in 1575. Richard Fawcet was collated 20th Doc. 1575. George More( roft hold this stall in 1615, and died in 1648.
