He was superintendent of Indian affairs in New Mexico in 1868. Galleher, John Nicholas, clergyman, bishop, Avas born Feb. 17, 1839, in Mason county, Ky. He was the third protestant episcopal bishop of the diocese of Louisiana. He died Dec. 7, 1891, in New Orleans, La.
