The Rochdale meeting, held November 28th, was addressed by Mr. Cobden, Mr. W. J. Fox, and Mr. Bright. Amongst the subscribers were Messrs. Jas. King & Sons, £200; Mr. John Fenton, £100; Messrs. James Tweedale, Robert Schofield, James Midgely, Robert Kelsall, George Ashworth, and Chas. Haigh, £50 each. Before the meeting terminated, the sum subscribed amounted to $1,574, making with the £1,150 subscribed at Manchester by Rochdale gentlemen, the sum of £2,724 from that spirited town. The meeting of the Liverpool Anti-Monopoly Association, held in the Amphitheatre, December 6th, was ad- dressed by Mr. Thornley, M.P., Mr. Cobden, M.P., Mr. Lawrence Heyworth, Mr. William Rathbone, Mr. C. E. Rawlins jun., and Mr. Bright, M.P. Amongst the subscri. bers were Mr. Lawrence Heyworth, £300; Messrs. H. & H. Darby, £200; Messrs. Christopher Rawdon, Jas. Harvey, James Mulleneux, James Muspratt, J. R. & D. Mathcr, Wm. Fawcett, G. Crosfield & Co., Wm. Rathbone, Watson Brothers, Thomas Thornely, Geo. Armstrong, J. D. Wood, Victor Poutz, James Mellor, Edward Wilson, G. Holt & Co., and William Brown, £100 each. There were nineteen subscribers of £50, and the amount raised before the meeting separated was £4,600.
The meeting at Huddersfield, held December 7th, was addressed by Mr. F. Schwann, Mr. W. Willans, Mr. J. T. Clay, Mr. Cobden, M.P., and Mr. R. R. Moore. Amongst the subscribers were Mr. F. Schwann, £200; Messrs. Mallinson & Sons, George Crossland & Sons, and Mr Joseph Kaye, £100 each; and Mr. J. T. Clay, £50. The amount subscribed before the meeting separated was £1,322. On the following evening Mr. Bright and Col. Thompson attended at Holmfirth where the amount subscribed was £105,
