Started with 6 others (who are looking for runs) for "Table Hill" to find fresh runs for sheep.

With Mr. Darling examining much country.

The same & home.

Started shepherd (Connor) with dry sheep; & Lewington with young lambs & ewes. Counted both lots C - 588, from which we drew off 5, leaving 583, & 98 lambs. Lewington's lot was 71 ewes & 54 lambs etc.

APRIL 29.

Started with team & hands to make station for sheep; & take them to place.

APRIL 30.

Sunday. Arrived at camping ground.

MAY 1.

Making yard.

MAY 2.

Finished yard & cut timber for hut. Lewington came up with ewes & young lambs; although I had told him, & sent by A to tell him he was not to move them till I sent for them,
