The same, & to W's with letters, when to my surprise the "Mystery" & left many hours before. Mr. Nairn had Jeannette to Middleton's, & Ney from there in, Bob brought back the mare; & she f the same night; & Ney returned late today quite knocked up, so that I had to turn him out at "Dig Down", & got as far as the marsh on foot, when I saw the return party from "Mystery" & came back. Nairn told Miller he did not wish me to go up this time; & for that reason,
