Rode out to look at feed; & see if sheep required moving, found plenty of feed.

NOV. 25.

To Grant's for axe, & hearing Middleton was much worse; & did not expect to live, went to see him. "Note of Kestrel"

NOV. 26.

Sunday remained with Middleton as he was still very bad; & returned to Grant's late.

NOV. 27.

To station, & repairing yard, & .... off dry sheep; arranged affairs with men; & left at 8 pm. for Middleton's.

NOV. 28.

Home, & to Mt. Welcome with team & traps, blacks etc.

NOV. 29.

On board “Kestrel for passages, wool etc.

NOV. 30.

Returned to Mt. W -

DEC. 2.

Out to station, with Dr. Bompas

DEC. 3.

Returned to Mt. Welcome. Sunday.

Settling a/cs. From this time employed taking down wool, bringing up stores
