An Aft to enable his Majefty's Lieutenants of the fc- veral Counties, Ridings, or Places, in that Part of Great Britain called England, to proceed in the Execu- tion of the Laws relating to the militia, notwithltand- ing any Sufpcnfion of the fame ; and for other Purpofes relating to the faid Laws. 3. An Act for continuing and granting to his Majefty certain Duties upon Malt, Mum, Cyder and Perry, for the Service of the Year one thoufand f&vcn hundred and fixty. 4. An Act to continue, for a further Time, -the Prohibi- tion of the making of Low Wines and Spirits trom Wheat, }J.irIcy, Malt, or any other Sort of Grain, or from Meal, Flour, or Bran. 5. An Aft to continue, for a limited Time, the Impor- tation of falted Beef, Pork and Butter from Ireland. 6. An A(5t for punifhing Mutiny and Dcfcrtion ; and for the better Payment of the Army and their Quarters. 7. An Aft for granting to his Majefty feveral Duties upon Malt, and for raifing the Sum of eight ii^illions by way of Annuities and a Lottery, to be charged on the faid Duties ; and to prevent the fraudulent obtain- ing of Allowances in the gauging of Corn making into Malt ; and iox makint^ furtU Duplicates of Exchequer Bills, Tickets, Certificates, Receipts, Annuity Orders and other Orders, loft, burnt or othe'rwife deftroyed. 8. An Aft for the Regulation of his Majefty's Marine Forces while on Shore. 9. An Aft for preventing the exceflive Ufe of Spirituous Liquors, by laying additional Duties thereon; for fhortening the Prohibition of making Low Wines and Spirits from Wheat, Barley, Malt or other Grain, and from Meal, Flour and Bran; for encouraging the Exportation of Britijlj made Spirits; and for more ef- feftually fecuring the Duties payable upon Spirits, and preventing the fraudulent Relanding or Importa- tion thereof. 10. An Aft to enable his Majefty to make Leafes and Copies of Offices, Lands and Hereditaments, Parcel of his Dutchy of Cornwall, or annexed to the fame; and for other Purpofes therein mentioned. ri. An Aft for taking down and removing the Magazine for Gunpowder, and all Buildings thereto belonging, fituate near Greenwich, in the County of Kent ; and erefting, inftead thereof, a new Magazine for Gun- powder at Purfleet, near the River of Thames, in the County of Ejfcx; and applying a Sum of Money granted in this Seflion of Parliament towards thofe Purpofes ; and for obviating Difficulties arifen upon an Aft made in the laft Seffion of Parliament, for making Compenfation for Lands and Hereditaments purchafed for his Majefty's Service at Port/mouthy Chatham and Plymouth. 12. An Aft for adding certain Annuities granted in the Year one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-nine, to the Joint Stock of three per Ceyitum Annuities, confoli- dated by the Afts of the twenty-fifth, twenty-eighth, twenty-ninth and thirty-fecond Years of his prefent Majefty's Reign, and for carrying the feveral Duties therein mentioned to the Sinking Fund; and for can- celling fuch Lottery Tickets as were made forth in purfuance of an Aft of the thirtieth Year of his prefent Majefty's Reign, and were not difpofed of. 13. An Aft for allowing further Time for Inrollment of Deeds and Wills made by Papifts ; and for Relief of Proteftant Purchafers. 14. An Aft for enlarging the Times for the firft Meet- ings of Commiffioners or Truftees for putting in Exe- cution certain Afts of this Seffion of Parliament. 15. An Aft for rendering the Exportation of Culm from the Harbour of Mi If or d, in the County of Pembroke^ and the Limits thereof,, to the neighbouring Countics,- more eafy to the Proprietors and Purchafers of the fame ; and for better fecuring the Duties payable thereon. 16. An Aft to continue feveral Laws therein mentioned relating to the clandeftine Running of uncuftomed Goods, and preventing Frauds relating to the Cu- ftoms ; to prevent the clandeftine Running of Goods, and the Danger of Infeftion thereby ; to the granting Liberty to carry Rice from his Majefty's Provmce of Carolina in America, dircftly to any Part of Europe, Southward of Cape Finijlerre, in Ships built and navi- gated according to Law; to the frzc Importation of Cochineal and indico; to the prohibiting the Impor- tation of Books reprinted Abroad, and firft compofcd, written and printed in Great Britain; and for allowing further Time for making Affidavits of the Execution of Articles or Contrafts of Clerks to Attornies or Sol- licitors, and filing thereof. 17.
