fourth Day of 7««^ one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-nine, any Mafter, Owner or Owners of SSd'o b "cViy any Ship or Veffel, may (hip, tranfport and carry, in his or their Ship or Ships, Veflel or Veffels, as dipped as Ballaft, f*om Ballaft, from London, or any Part of the River 77'<7OTf/, any Dung, Compoft, Earth, or Soil, or any any Part of the River Chalk Rubbifh, Sope Afhes, Soap Waftc, Flints, Tobacco-Pipe Clay, or other Clay, or any other Thames j Goods or Commodities claimed to be furnifhed as Ballaft: by the faid Corporation o( Trinity Houfe (fubjeft neverthelefs to the Payment of the Rates and Duties, and under the Provifoes and Rellric- t4ons, herein after mentioned and contained concerning the fame) fo that the whole Quantity toge- , ther of all Dung, Compoft, Earth, or Soil, which fliall be allowed to be fhipped and tranfported for Ballaft as aforefaid, under the Authority of this Aft, for the Ufe of Coafters and Colliers, or on any other Account or Pretence whatfoever, doth not exceed in any one Year, to commence and be computed from the firft Day of June inclufive in every Year, the Quantity of three thoufand Tons, over and befides the Quantity of two thoufand Tons of Dung, Compoft, Earth, or Soil, herein af- over and befidcs 2000 ter fpecified and allowed to be fhipped or put on Board any Coafting Ships or VefTels in the faid Ri- Tons from the Layftaih ver Thatnes, by the Leffee or Leflees, Occupier or Occupiers of the Layftalls of the City of London '" London j < for the Time being, on the Condition hereinafter mentioned ; and fo alfo that the whole Quantity and of Chalk, and Chapi of Chalk and Chalk Rubbifh which fhall be ftiipped and tranfported as Ballaft, for the Ufe of Coaf- i^^bbifh 30Q0 tons j ters and Colliers in the faid River Thames^ doth not exceed the Quantity of three thoufand Tor(s in anyone Year, to commence and be computed as aforefaid ; and fo likewife that the whole Qiiantity ^'"^ of Sope Aflies, &c. of Sope Afhes, and of all other Sorts of Commodities as aforefaid, claimed to be furnifhed arBallaft "°°° ^°"^' as aforefaid by the faid Corporation, and licenfed by the Authority of this A61: to be fhipped and tranf- ported as Ballaft as aforefaid, for the Ufe of Coafters and Colliers in the faid River, doth not exceed the Quantity of two thoufand Tons in any one Year, to commence and be computed as aforefaid.
