Lift to bfl kcTif by tliC Clerk of the Peace. in the faid Prifon {of the Fleet or King's Bench, a^ the Cafe Jhall he] or the Liberties thereof, at the Suit or Suits of the feveral Perfons in the faid Lifts refpeclively mentioned {and if any Prifoners have fince the /aid twenty -Jifth Day of Odlober 07ie thoufand fevcn hundred andfixty^ efaped out of either of the faid Prifons^ then infert, except infcrt the Name or Names of the Prifoner or Prifoners who hav^ ffcaped who without my Knowledge, Privity, or Confent, hath or have efcaped out of the faid Prifon of and that the faid Lift is a true, exafl:, perfedt, and juft- Lift of all fuch Per- fons who were really and truly Prifoners inadtual Cuftody in the faid Gaol or Prifon of on the faid twenty-hfth Day of October one thoufand feven hundred and fixty, and who, fmce the faid twenty-fifth Day of Oclober one thoufand (^v^n hundred and fixty, have been committed to, and really have been, and now is or are Prifoner or Prifoners in acSlual Cuftody in the faid Gaol or Prifon of or the Liberties thereof; and that none of fuch Prifoners, to my Knowledge, or with my Privity, have voluntarily, or with Defign, or in Expectation to take any Benefit from or under any A6t of Parliament to be made for Relief of Infolvent Debtors, furrendered themfelves,. or been committed to the faid Prifon, or got their Names entered as Prifoners in the Books of the faid Prifon ; or fince the fame twenty-fifth Day of O^ober one thoufand kven hundred and fixty, to my Knowledge, or with my Privity, have refided out of the faid Prifon of or the Rules thereof [but if any have fo done, a^d, except naming fuch by Name], And that every other Gaoler and Keeper of any other Prifon or Prifons in any County, City, Town, Riding, Divifion, Place, or Liberty, ftiall feverally, on the delivering in of any fuch Lift refpe6tively, take an Oath in the open Court of the General or General Qiiarter Seflion of the County, City, Town, Divifion, Liberty, or Place, for which he or ihe fhall deliver in any fuch Lift, and fwear to the Effe£t following; (that is to fay) I J. B. upon my corporal Oath, in the Prefence of Almighty God, do folemnly fwear, profefs, and declare. That all and every Perfon and Perfons, whofe Name or Names are inferted and contained in the firft Part of the Lift by me now delivered in and fubfcribed, was and were, to the beft of my Knowledge and Belief, upon the twenty-fifth Day of October one thoufand feven hun- dred and fixty, really and truly Prifoners in a^Stual Cuftody, in the Prifon or Gaol of at the Suit or Suits of the feveral Perfons therein refpeitivcly mentioned ; and alfo that all and every Perfon and Perfons, whofe Name or Names is or are inferted or contained in the fecond Part of the -faid Lift now by me delivered in and fubfcribed as aforefaid, have, fince the faid twenty-fifth Day OSiober one thoufand {tv<t hundred and fixty, been committed or furrendered to the faid Craol or Piifon of {if any fuch Prifoner or Prifoners kith or have, fince the faid twenty-fifth Day of Odlober oie thoufand fiv en hundred and fixty, been committed or furrendered to fuch Gaol or Prifon) at the Suit or Suits of the feveral Perfon or Perfons therein refpedively mentioned (except {if an Exception is nece//ary] fuch Perfons as are therein particularly mentioned and defcribedto have died,_ been difcharged, or removed to fome other Prifon by Procefs of Law, or to have efcaped out of fuch Prifon, without my Privity, Knowledge, or Confent, fince the faid twenty-fifth Day of Oc- tober one thoufand {even hundred and fixty) and that all and every of them, whofe Name and Nanries is and are contained in the firft Part of the faid Lift (except as before excepted to the beft of my Knowledge and Belief, have really and truly continued and remained in aftual Cuftody, in the faid Gaol or Prifon of ever fince the faid twenty-fifth Day of October one thou- fand feven hundred and fixty ; and that the faid Lift is a true, cxa£t, perfe6t, and juft Lift, of all fuch Perfons as were really and truly Prifoners in a£tual Cuftody, in the Gaol or Prifon of on the faid twenty-fifth Day of October one thoufand feven hundred and fixty, and who, fince the fiiid twenty-fifth Day of OBober one thoufand feven hundred and fixty, have been really and truly committed, or furrendered to the faid Gaol or Prifon of (except as before excepted) to the beft of my Knov/ledge and Belief; and that none of fuch Prifoners, to my Knowledge or with my Privity, have voluntarily, or with Defign, or in Expectation to take any Benefit from or under any Act of Parliament to be made for Relief of Lifolvent Debtors, furrendered, or been committed to the faid Prifon of or got his, her, or their Name or Names entered as Prifoner or Prifoners in the Books of the faid Prifon, or fince their Commitment, have to my Knowledge, or with my Privity, refided out of the faid Prifon of [if any have fo done, then add, except inferting their Natnes^. Which faid refpeCtive Oaths the faid Juftices at the firft or fecond General or Quarter Seflion afore- faid, or at fome Adjournment thereof, within their refpecStive Jurifdi£tions, arc hereby impowered and required to adminiftcr in open Court ; and the Words of the fiiid Oath herein before directed to be taken by the fitid Warden and Marftial refpedtively, fhall be entered or written at the J'^nd or Bottom of the Lift which fhall be delivered in by them rcfpedtivcly, and ihall be fubfcribed and fworn to by them refpeCtively in open Court ; and the Words of the Oath to be taken by every other Gaoler or Keeper refpedively, fiiall be entered or written at the End or Bottom of the Lift which, fhall be delivered by them refpe(£tively, and ftiall be fubfcribed and fworn to by them refpcaiyely in, open Court : And every fuch Lift which fliall be fo delivered in, fubfcribed, and fvvorn to, in pur-^ fuanceof this A6t, fhall be kept by the Clerk of the Peace of every fuch Cfumty, Ridin'j,, Divifion,^ City, I'own, Place, or Liberty refpeCtively, in which any fuch Lift as aforefaid {hall be fworn to,, for the better Satisfaction of the faid Juftices, and Information of all or any Prifoner or Prifon<;rs therein
