For the in-bringing of the Kingis proprtie and cafiialities. ITEM, For in-bringing of our Soveraine Lordis properrie and cafiialities zeirlie to his Checker ,fa that his Thefaurar and Comptroller , may be weill furnifhed , for furnifliing of all fik thinges, quhilkis perteinis to them to do : And that in times cumming , they fall have na caufe to compleinzie , bot in their awin default and negligence : It is herefore ftatute and ordained , that all Schireffes, Stewardes, Cuftomers, Chal- merlaines , and uthers intromettours with our Soveraine Lordis propertie , compeir at everie Checker, quhair it fall be halden for the time , and make their compts and full payment Eque with the Rollis , before their de- parting, ilk ane for their awin part, fa far as they mtromet-with , ormichtintromet, be reafon of their of- fice, doand their diligence thereto , under the paine of wardingof their perfones , there to remaine induring the Kingis will : And as for the cafualities , ordainis all Schireffes , Stewardes, Baillies, and uthers, that audit to make compte, reckoning, and payment of the famin, to compeir zeirlie in the Checker , be them felves , or their fufficiente deputes , at the daye affigned to them be the precepte , and there make compte, reckoning , and payment of all fik cafualities , and do their utter diligence thereto , be the consideration of the Lordes Auditoures , and departe not quhill they have done the famin , under the paine forefaid. 97. Anent the taking of the Kingis Rebelles : of the mainteining and refitting of them. ALS WA, Anentis the execution ofthea&es of Parliament maid of before, be our Soveraine Lordis Progenitoures , upon them that committis flauchter and mutilation , and for apprehenfion of our Soveraine Lordis Lieges rebelles , and diligence to be maid therein , bee Schireffes and uthers Officiares of the Realme, baith in Regalitie and Royaltie : It is ftatute and ordained , that the acles maid thereupon of before , be put to execution in all poyntes , and that all Schireffes , Stewardes , Baillies , and all uther of- ficiares , baith to burgh and to lande , alfweill in the Regalitie , as in the Royaltie , doe their diligence to fearche and feeke all our Soveraine Lordis rebelles , and being at his Home , quhair ever they may be apprehended within their Baillieries, take and bring them to our Soveraine Lordis Juftice, to be Juftified for their demerites , under the paine of tinfell of their Offices for three zeires, gifthey have the famin in. heritage : And gifthey have the famin for zeires , to tine the famin for ever , and to be accufed upon their diligence in that behalfe , in the Juftice aires , or at uther particular diettes, asfallpleafe the Kingis Grace. And that na maner of man within this Realme , wilfullie or wittinglie , receipt , fupplie , main- teine , defend , or do favoures , to ony of our Soveraine Lordis rebelles , and being at his home , within their houfe , landes , boundes , or Baillieries , under the paine of death , & confiscation of all their movea- ble gudes, and to be called and accufed here-upon , outlier at Juftice courtes , or particular diettes , as faide is.
