Queen's Coll., matric. 28 March, 1729, aged 19; B.A. 13 March, 1733-4, created D.C.L. 22 March, 1762, then vicar of Orton, Westmoreland, chancellor of Carlisle 1765, author of the History of Westmoreland, etc., died at Orton, 12 Nov., 1785.
