This author's identity seems to be entirely unknown. For example, according to this source: "Mrs J. C. Gorham, alas, is known to us only by her married name—and this means, by the usual practice of the time, that her husband was named J. C." —Beleg Tâl (talk) 13:56, 4 October 2021 (UTC)
