Headers and footers edit

These have been set up to automatically include {{sidenotes begin}} and {{sidenotes end}}. On pages which have no sidenotes these should be deleted. Use {{left sidenote|}} and {{right sidenote|}} as appropriate for the sidenotes

Long s edit

Do not replicate the long 's' (it's just an 's'). It makes proofreading extremely difficult and reading of the text tiresome. Retain all other text as printed (e.g. spelling, use of u for v, etc.) Chrisguise (talk) 11:53, 1 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Template for Abbreviation of "the" edit

@Tylopous {{ye2}} produces slightly better results y͏ͤ. Languageseeker (talk) 19:44, 2 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Languageseeker: Thank you. I'll try it out on a page I proofread just a few minutes ago.Tylopous (talk) 19:46, 2 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Further Abbreviation Templates edit

The following templates can be used for abbreviations found in the text: {{yt}} (abbr. for that),{{wt}} (abbr. for with), {{wc}} (abbr. for which).Tylopous (talk) 11:41, 12 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Font edit

For the text in black-letter font, use {{blpo}} (so it won’t appear after transclusion).

@TE(æ)A,ea.: Thank you. I wasn't aware of this template. I can make the necessary template changes during the proofreading process.--Tylopous (talk) 17:38, 18 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Blackletter in sidenotes edit

It seems one should leave out specification of {{bl}} or {{blpo}} in sidenotes. If one specifies it in the sidenotes (additionally to the text around it), then it seems the sidenotes get a larger font size compared to the version where one just has {{blpo}} for the surrounding text and no template inside the sidenote. This latter variant seems to produce a font size closer to the one in the original text.--Tylopous (talk) 17:05, 20 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
