Images should be uploaded to Commons at: Category:Lake Ngami (1861 book). Some images may already exist there.

The frontispiece is labeled "File:Lake Ngami-8.png" and subsequent images should adopt a similar naming scheme (although the book page number could be used for images appearing within the text, as with File:Lake Ngami-p24.png). --EncycloPetey (talk) 16:06, 2 May 2014 (UTC)

Formatting and typography

In no particular order:

• Running headers should be typed in ALL CAPS using {{smaller}}.
• Chapter titles should use {{larger}}. The list of sections underneath each chapter title should use {{smaller}} and {{hi}}.
• Eliminate all spaces between words and punctuation following it. Eliminate all spaces on either side of em-dashes; do NOT use {{—}} (which adds hair spaces on either side of it).
• Use {{rule|10em}} for separation between chapters. Use {{dhr}} above and below.
• Image captions should use {{x-smaller}}.

• On pages that include both the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next, use ## s1 ## at the top of the body, #### just before the {{dhr}}/{{rule}}/{{dhr}} construct described above, and ## s2 ## just before the new chapter title. Skiasaurus (skē’ ə sôr’ əs) 02:24, 3 May 2014 (UTC)
