The individual issues of the Literary Magnet in this volume were published from July to December 1825 (with the following volume – series 2, volume 1 – running from January to June 1826). The cover wrapper and index for volume 4 were printed in 1826, and unhelpfully gave the year they were printed (1826) on the title page, not the time covered by the issues of the magazine. Though the title page for volume 4 has 1826, which I suppose is when the volume was technically completed as a volume, I've kept 1825 in the year of this Index, as it would be misleading to specify the year after the individual issues were published. --YodinT 18:02, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
