Durham, high sheriff 1863, J.P. and chairman of quarter sessions Yorks, n.r., a governor of Christ's Hospital, a student of the Inner Temple 27 April, 1836 (then aged 22), called to the bar 3 May, 1839 (3rd son of Henry Hale, late of Guisborough, Yorks, dec.); born 17 June, 1813; married 21 Aug., 1860, Mary Blanche, eldest dau. of late Sir Richard Digby Neave, Bart., and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
