Roper-Curzon, Edwin Purves, undergrad. Trin. Coll., Camb., a student of the Inner Temple 28 April, 1868 (then aged 20), called to the bar 6 June, 1871 (only son of Hon. Sidney Roper-Curzon, J.P., of Norbiton Place, Surrey); born 26 March, 1848; married 6 Oct., 1869, Ethel Anne, youngest dau. of Rev. Edward Doddridge, Knt., of Nottage Court, co. Glamorgan; she died 8 Aug., 1876, leaving issue (see Foster's Peerage, B. Teynham).
