William Yorick Smythies, of Hillside, Weeley, Essex); born 19 Feb., 1849; married 24 Feb., 1870, Charlotte Mary, youngest dau. of Rev. Thomas Keble, vicar of Bisley, co. Glouc., and niece of Rev. John Keble, author of The Christian Year.
