Stuart-Wortley, Charles Beilby, M.P. Sheffield since 1880, M.A., Balliol Coll., Oxon, 1878, from Rugby, a member of the North-eastern circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 25 Jan., 1873 (then aged 21), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1876 (2nd son of late Rt. Hon. James Archibald Stuart-Wortley, P.C., Q.C., solicitor-general and bencher of the Inner Temple, dec.); born 15 Sept., 1851; married 16 Aug., 1880, Beatrice Harriet Catharine, only child of Thomas Adolphus Trollope, the historian; she died 26 July, 1881, leaving a dau. (see Foster's Peerage, E. Wharncliffe).
