P., D.L., author of a treatise on The Criminal Law of the Navy and on The Land Drainage Act, a student of the Inner Temple 22 Nov., 1839, went to the Middle Temple 12 Dec, 1842, where he was called to the bar 27 Jan., 1843 (eldest son of Rev. John Gale Dalton Thring, of Alford House, Somerset); born 4 Aug., 1816; married 23 Sept., 1853, Julia Jane, 4th dau. of William Mills, Esq., of Saxham Hall, Suffolk, and has issue.
