2477 BE, 13:45 hours (in England), abdicated the royal throne, and Chaophraya Sithammathibet accepted His royal rescript as per the command of the Government on the same day, at the time of 16:30 hours, before sending the telegram dated 5 March this year to forward the details thereon; the House of People's Representatives, at its Meeting No 33/2477 on Wednesday–Thursday, 6–7 March this year, acknowledged the abdication of His Majesty King Maha Prajadhipok Phra Pokklao Chaoyuhua and passed a resolution according to section 9 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Siam to approve the invitation of His Highness Prince Ananda Mahidol, the first member of the Grand Royal Household in the line of succession according to the dispositions of section 8 and section 9 of the Palace Law on Succession, 2467 BE, to ascend the royal throne from the date and time of the abdication of His Majesty the King on.

This confirmatory note is therefore made to inform you thereof.
