Re: Additional organisation of agencies and distribution of duties and responsibilities
Whereas the Order of the Chief of the Council for Democratic Reform No 7/2549, Re: Organisation of agencies and distribution of duties and responsibilities has been issued, the Council for Democratic Reform, for the purposes of enabling its own smooth operation, hereby designates responsible persons and organises the agencies of the Special Affairs Division in addition thereto as follows:
1.General Sopon Silpipat, Royal Thai Army Chief of Staff, shall be the Council for Democratic Reform’s Secretary General for Special Affairs (CDR-SGSA), having the duty to direct and coordinate works in line with orders given by the Council for Democratic Reform.
2.Organisation of agencies
2.1.A Policy Task Force, having the duty to coordinate works and prepare statements, orders, announcements, or other documents as required.
2.2.An Operations Section, composed of the Operations Centre of the Ministry of Defence, the Joint Command of the Supreme Command Headquarters, the Royal Thai Army Operations Centre, the Royal Thai Navy Operations Centre, the Royal Thai Air Force Operations Centre, and the Royal Thai Police Operations Centre, having the duty to direct, coordinate, and supervise [activities] according to orders from the Council for Democratic Reform’s Secretary General for Special Affairs. For this purpose, the Royal Thai Army Operations Centre shall serve as the liaison unit of the Operations Section.
