which was enacted on the 15th day of December 2515 Buddhist Era, from the day of this announcement onwards.
May all the Thais be of one mind and be united unanimously in defending and protecting this Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, so as to maintain the democratic regime and sovereign power of all the Thais throughout the land of this Realm, bringing about prosperity, glorious glory, thriving triumph, various favourable outcomes, and immense and immortal fame to the people under His authority in accordance with His great royal wish in every respect!
Section1.Thailand is one and indivisible kingdom.
Section2.Thailand is administered under a democratic regime with Monarch as Head [of State].
Section3.The sovereign power belongs to all the Thais. The Monarch, who is the Head [of State], exercises such power by virtue of the provisions of this Constitution only.
