the President of the National Assembly shall invite the successor to ascend the throne as Monarch and the President of the National Assembly shall then announce this for public knowledge.
Whilst the successor under paragraph 1 is yet to be announced, the President of the Privy Council shall serve as Regent for the time being. However, in the event that the throne becomes vacant whilst a Regent has been appointed in accordance with section 21 or section 22 or whilst the President of the Privy Council is serving as Regent in accordance with section 23, paragraph 1, such or such Regent, as the case may be, shall continue to serve as Regent until the successor is announced.
In the event that the appointed Regent who continues to serve as Regent in accordance with paragraph 2 is unable to perform duties, the President of the Privy Council shall act as Regent temporarily.
In the event that the President of the Privy Council serves as Regent in accordance with paragraph 2 or acts as Regent temporarily in accordance with paragraph 3, the provisions of section 23, paragraph 3, shall apply.
