A.D. 1715.

vernor or Commander in Chief for the Time being is hereby desired, authorised, and impowered, by Commission, under his Hand and Seal, to commissionate and appoint; who shall, by Virtue of this Act, and such Commission granted thereupon, be fully invested with all such Powers and Authorities as to the Office of a Coroner, by the Laws and Customs of the Kingdom of Great-Britain, doth of Right belong or appertain.

Coroner's Fee 16s. 8 d. II. AND be it further Enacted, by the Authority aforesaid, That every Coroner so appointed, may, and he is hereby impowered, to take and receive, for every Inquest by him made and taken, and returned into the Secretary's Office, (which he is hereby required, directed, and commanded, within Three Months, after the Date, to do,) the Sum of Sixteen Shillings and Eight Pence, for his own Fee.

Each juryman 12 d. per Diem. Constable 12 d. for each Juryman he summons. III. AND be it further Enacted, by the Authority aforesaid, That each Juryman shall be paid the Sum of Twelve Pence per Diem, and the Constable who summoneth the Jury, the Sum of One Shilling for every Juryman; the Whole to be levied, by a Warrant from the Coroner, upon the Estate of the Party on whose Body any Inquest shall be taken, if any such can be found: Otherwife such Charges to be paid out of the Public Treasury.
