This routing would be over present U. S. 25A from its south junction with M-51 southeasterly to former U. S. 25, thence through Port Huron on former U. S. 25 to the junction with I-94 (present U. S. 25) south of Port Huron.

Relocation
This routing in the vicinity of Charlotte will be over a high type facility bypassing the city on the east side, beginning a short distance south of the city limits and extending northerly to a junction with present U.S. 27. Also, beginning just south of Ithaca, thence northerly over a new high type facility via Alma, St. Louis, bypassing Mt. Pleasant on the east side, also Clare on the east and north sides, Harrison on the east side, to a junction with Interstate Route 75 and present U. S. 27 south of Grayling. Also, beginning at the south edge of Grayling at the interchange with present U. S. 27, I-75 and M-72, thence northerly along the east side of Grayling with I-75 to present U. S. 27 at Indian River.

This routing would be over former U. S. 27 through Charlotte from the junction south of town of present U. S. 27 to the junction of the present U. S. 27 northeast of the city. Also, over former U. S. Route 27 through the town of Ithaca. Also, over U. S. Route 27A through the town of Alma and over former U.S. Route 27 through the town of St. Louis. Another section through the town of Mt. Pleasant over former U. S. Route 27. Also, through the town of Clare over a spur connection on the south side of town to former U. S. 27, thence over former U. S. 27 to a junction with present U. S. 27 north of town. Also, over former U. S. 27 through the town of Harrison.

This routing begins south of Benton Harbor at the junction of present U.S. 31 and M-139, thence over M-139 to I-94, thence over I-94 northerly to interchange with I-96 northeast of Benton Harbor, thence northerly with I-96 to the junction of present U. S. 31, U.S. 31 B.R. and I-96 south of Holland. Also, beginning south of Muskegon Heights at the junction of present U. S. 31 and a new high type facility just north of M-104 intersection, thence northerly to I-196 and U. S. 16.
