This routing will begin west of St. Charles at the intersection of former By-Pass U. S. 40 and run easterly with a newly constructed section of Interstate Route 70, bypassing St. Charles, to the interchange with By-Pass U. S. 66 near Pattonville, thence north with By-Pass U. S. 66 to former By-Pass U. S. 40 (also S. R. 115) at Bridgeton. Portions of present By-Pass U. S. 40 wi11 be marked S.R. 94 and S. R. 115 and a small section will be unmarked but will serve as a Frontage Road for Interstate Route 70. |
