Relocation and Extension of Route

(Missouri Section)

This routing will begin in Stanberry at the junction of present U. S. Route 136 and State Route 4, thence west and north to Ravenwood, thence west over State Routes 4 and 46 to Maryville, thence north and west over State Route 4 via Wilcox, Burlington Junction, Tarkio, Rock Port and Phelpss City to the Nebraska-Missouri State line on the Brownsville Bridge spanning the Missouri River, a total distance in Missouri of 75.8 miles. (The portion of U. S. Route 136 in Missouri now marked from Stanberry to St. Joseph, Missouri over U. S. Route 169 is to be discontinued and markers removed on this section which is approximately 41.3 miles in length).

(Nebraska Section)

This routing vill be over Nebraska State Route 3 beginning at the Missouri-Nebraska State line at the Missouri River at Brownsville following Nebraska State Route 3 westward via Auburn, Tecumseh, Beatrice, Pairbury, Deshler, Red Cloud, Franklin, Alma, Orleans and Oxford to U. S. Route 6 north of Edison, a distance of approximately 29.5 miles.

Relocation
This routing would be over existing Alternate U. S. Route 29 from the North Carolina State line northeast of Blacksburg, southwesterly through Blacksburg, Gaffney, Cowpens, Spartanburg to the intersection with present U. S. Route 29 and Alternate U. S. Route 29 in Lyman, a distance of approximately 33 miles. The Alternate U. S. Route 29 markers would be removed from this section.

Relocation
This routing would be over sections of Interstate Routes 126 and 26 beginning at the junction of Interstate Route 126 and present U. S. Route 76 near the intersection of Main Street and Elmwood Avenue in Columbia, thence running northwesterly approximately 3 miles to Interstate Route 26 thence continue northwesterly with Interstate Route 26 to a junction with present U. S. Routes 76 and 176 north of Irmo, a distance of approximately 7.5 miles.

Relocation
This routing will leave present U. S. Route 276 about two miles southeast of Fountain Inn and will follow a recently constructed controlled access facility in a southeasterly direction passing north of Gray Court and Laurens and terminating at an intersection with Interstate Route 26 approximately 3 miles north of Clinton.
