*איקוניא I (pl. of ~~~~~~~) statuary. Midr. Till. to Ps. XV (ref. to Is. XXXI, 9, applied to the Roman emm- pire or emperor) 'his rock א׳ זה this means the statues with the likenesses of the emperors (v. Sm. Ant. s. v. Statuary). *איקוניא II or איקוניא f. (pl. as a collect. noun) (denom. of איקון) a procession in which portable images are carried. Midr. Till. to Ps. XVII וכ׳ מלאכים של א׳ a. procession of angels passes before man and they cry, Make room וכ׳ של לאיקוניה (read לאקוניו or לאיקונות; Yalk. Ps. 670; Deut.
