ניפול, נפ׳ m. (נפל) 1) falling off, esp. (with ref. to Lev. XI, 32) of a limb detaohed from the body. Hull. 74a וכ׳ ׳ עושה מיתה the natural death of an animal causes tthe hanging limb (דלדול) to be considered as if detached (in life-time, so that it does not come under the law of לבלה), but slaughtering does not &c. (and the dangling limb is considered as a part of the slaughtered animal.
