R. s. 43 [readנ] מן או הוא קאקגריסין מן . . . הזה העבד הוא ק׳ this slave whom thou offerest to me for sale, does he belong to the class of the mischievouus (xxobb~) or to the well-behaved וכ׳ הוא קאקג׳ מן אל said he to him, he belongs to the mischievous, and as such I sell him tto thee. - [The emendations by Perles ZDM XXXV, 141, Krauss, Lehnworter, p. 273 sq. stand refuted by the con- text, in which the slave says רע בעבד או . . . טוב בעבד hast thou bought me as a good slave, or as a bad slave?]
