have become, had we been left to ourſelves, we ought to learn to bleſs him, whoſe gracious Hand, correcting our Inſtitutions, and giving them an unſhakeable Foundation, has thereby prevented the Diſorders which they otherwiſe muſt have produced, and made our Happineſs flow from Means, which, in all Appearance, would without his Intervention have completed our Miſery.
