Section 3. This Act shall be in force and effect from and after April 30, 1909.

This Bill having been returned by the governor with his objections thereto, and after reconsideration, having passed both houses by two-thirds vote of each house, has become a law this 15th day of February, A. D. 1909.

CHAPTER 6.

AN ACT

To Apply the Principle of Rule by Majority to the Local Option Law.

Be it Enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the Territory of Arizona:

Section 1. Paragraph 3064 of the Civil Code is hereby amended by striking therefrom the words “two-thirds”.

Section 2. All Acts and parts of Acts in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its passage.
