April 9, 1772, and succeeded his brother, May 26, 1797 ; was Lord Lieut, of Dublin; in 1831, was created Baron Chaworth, in the peerage of the United Kingdom: m. Dec. 31, 1801, Lady Melosina Adelaide Meade, daughter of the 1st Earl of Clanwilliam ; and d. March 15, 1851, having had issue six sons and a daughter. The Countess d. 1866.
