Louth, and a Dep.-Lieut. of Down; created a Peer of the United Kingdom as Baron Clanbrassil 1821 ; m. 1st, 1813, the Hon. Maria Frances Catherine Stapleton, who d. 1861, 2nd daughter of the 22nd Baron Le Despencer, and 2ndly, 1862, Clementina Janet, daughter of Thomas Andrews, Esq , of Green Knowes, N.B. ; he d, 1870, leaving issue two sons and three daughters.
