Dec. 10th, 1841, and succeeded his father 1864 ; was a Capt. in the 2nd Aberdeenshire Rifle Volunteers. He d. unmarried Jan; 27th, 1870, his death being the result of an accident from falling overboard during a voyage from the United States to Australia. Sept. ~, 1824, Caroline, who d. 1873, 2nd daughter of Ralph Leekc, Esq. of Longford- hall, Shrop- shire; and d. Aug. I/, 1868, having had issue three sons and four daughters.
