Richard Ham., collated 22ml Feb. 1461-2. He held
it in 1466. William Skelton, B.D., installed 9th Aug. 1471; he
became treasurer. He quitted this stall for a pension
of twenty marks. James Whiston succeeded in 1497, vice Skelton re- signed. He quitted it for Banbury. Gilbert Smith, collated 28th June 1498, vice Wins- ton. He seems to have quitted it for Leighton
Manor. Jonx Empson, collated in 1508, vice Smith resigned, and Richard Empson was collated 20th July, on the
other's resignation. Jonx Burg] s, 13th Feb. 1 5 1 7 1 8. George Henneage, installed 9th June 1518, vice
vice Burgos resigned. He exchanged it again with John Herges for Coringham 6th June 152 1. Thomas Robertson, A.M., collated 29th March 1536,
vice Burges deceased. He quitted it for Croperdy. Johx Westhoese, A.M., collated 16th March 1542-3,
and installed 14th May following, vice Robertson re- signed. He held it in 156 1. Thomas Bite ley, collated 1st June 157 1 and installed
2nd Feb. following. In 1586 he was made bishop of
Chichester. Edward Jermix, installed 23rd July 1.586; but not
having a good title he was set aside. Edward Jones, A.M., collated 24th Nov., and installed
in his stead 17th Dec. 1586. George Elaxd, S.T.P., collated 22nd Aug. 1598, and
installed 12th Dec. 1600; resigned in 1603. James Damon, collated 8th March 16034, vice Eland
resigned. Roland Hill, A.M., installed 12th Jan. 1606-7. He
was buried in Shawborne churchyard, co. Bucks, in
1630, setatis suae 74. Edward Herox, B.D., collated 25th March 163 1. Rodolph (or Ralph) Holixgworth, B.D., collated
