Cloudy, soon clearing and hot. Mr. Kyser hitched up and took Terry and me down the river, where we met W. D. Blythe at his house. He had a fine Indian vessel found a few hundred yards east of his house at foot of cliff ((outline drawing of vessel in notebook)).
