He rendered important services on courts-martial in St. Louis. He died Dec. 14, 1865, in Leavenworth, Kan. Barstow, Wilson, soldier, was born in 1830 in New York. He served from the first year of the civil war until its close with zeal and ability, attaining the brevet rank of brigadier-general in 1865.
