Narahari Chakravarti’s second book called
Narottamvilasa (life of Narottama), though compara-
tively small in size shows a decided improvement
on the Bhaktiratnakara both in style and in its
arrangement of materials. Narottamvilasa is divid-
ed into 12 chapters.
Narahari was a great scholar in Sanskrit, and
the above two works, though written in Bengali,
are full of learned references and quotations from
the Sanskrit. Inthe Bhaktiratnakara we find refer-
