They hardly convey any sense through the jingle of words which it was the primary object of the poet to create. Jagadananda died in 1704 at Yophalai where a me/a is held every year to commemorate his death. A collection of his padas with a learned preface was published not long ago by the late Babu Kali Das Nath of Calcutta.
