We have a lot of snow this year and it is cold too, but not like last year. I have often been out visiting the sick in the villages. It is often difficult enough to ride in winter, but so far it has gone well. Last week I was called to a Turkish woman in a village, she had had a child the night before, but was very poor. It was snowy and difficult to ride, but it was a human life on the line, so there was nothing to do about it. The horse fell deep
