The major ions monitored for the tert-butyldimethylsilane derivatives were the molecular ions less the tert-butyl group (m/z = 57). The ions used for quantitation are m/z (mass to charge) 165 for the internal standard derivative and m/z 211 for the 3-bromopropionic acid derivative.
