Lf f thc p ™" King's Court of Exchequer, fliall continue and be continually and yearly levied, charged or payed in the ™"i£ fame Court, in Inch Manner and Form as heretofore hath been ufed ; any Law, Cuftom, Unity of Pof- qucr. feflion in the King's Highnefs, or other Thing to the contrary notwithstanding, and as though the faid Promotions, Manors, Lands, Tenements and other the Premifles had not come to the King s Hands or Pofteffion. or Hereditaments belonging or appertaining, or that did belong or appertain to them or to any of them, of them, of any and all Fines, Gifts, Grants, Feoffments, Recoveries and all other AfTurances and Conveyances; thereof College^, &c. or had or made by the AlTent, Confent or Licence under the Great Seal of England, of the faid late Kin?; their I * an<l, «  Henry the Eighth or of the King's Majefty that now is, to any Pcrfon or Pcrfons, Bodies Politick or Cor- porate, by any Chantry Pi ieft, Mailer, Warden, Miniftcr, Ruler, Governor, or other having any of the laid Promotions, of any of the faid Colleges, Chantries, Free Chapels or other the Premifles, or any of them, or of any Part, Parcel or Member of the fame, fhall (land and be in their Forces and Effects, and be good and effectual in the Law for fuch Eftates and Interefts given, granted, limited or appointed in any of the Gifts, Grants, AfTurances or Conveyances thereof had or made, according to their Purport, Form and Matter, and according to the true Intent and Meaning of the fame AfTurances, (a) and fhali be- by Authority of this Act good, perfect and available, as well againft the King, his Heirs and SuccelTors, as againft the faid Chantry Priefts, Wardens, Mafters, Rulers, Governors and other having any of the faid Promotions, and their Succeffbrs and the SuccelTors of every of them, as alfo againft the Founders, Do- nors and Patrons of the fame, and the Ordinary of them and of every of them, and the Heirs and Suc- ceffors of every of them ; any Law, Statute, Ordinance or other Thing to the contrary thereof notwith- standing. ' XXX. And where divers and fundry Bifhops, Deans, Archdeacons, Treafurcrs, Prebendaries, Chantry I Priefts, Mafters, Pr'ovofts, Rulers, Governors of any Deanaries, Archdeanaries, Treafurerfhips, Prebend*, ' Free Chapels, Chantries or Colleges within this Realm of England and other the King's Majeftyjs Domi- 1 n ions, or any of the Patrons, Founders, Donors of any of the Bifhopricks, Treafurerfhips, Deanaries, ' Chantries, Free Chapels or other the faid Spiritual Promotions, of their voluntary "Wills or Minds, for ' diveis good and reafonable Caufes and Confederations, by Deed or Deeds enrolled, or by other Writings ' or Conveyances, heretofore given and granted to the late King of famous Memory, Henry the Eighth ' late King' of England, and to his Heirs, or to our Sovereign Lord th.* King that now is, and to his Heir.-, ' divers of their Deanaries, Archdeaconries, Treafurerfhips, Prebends, Chapels, Chantries and Colleges, ' or any other Ecclefiaftical or Spiritual Promotions laft before remembred ; and all or foine Part of the ' Manors, Lands, 'Tenements, Tithes, Penfions, Annuities, Rents, Reversions and other Revenues, fie- ' reditaments, PofTeffions, Emoluments and Profits to the fame Bifhopricks, Deanaries, Archdeaconries, ' Treafurerfhip, Prebend c , Chapels, Chantries, Colleges and other like Promotions, Benefices, Offices and ' Dignities, or to any of them belonging, appertaining, united or annexed, or which the faid Bifhops, ' Deans, Archdeacons, Treafurers, Chantry Priefts, Mafters, Provofts, Rulers, Governors and other Ec- ' clefiaftical or Spiritual Officers or Minifters, or any of the faid Patrons, Donors or Founders or any of ' them, had or enjoyed in the Right, or by Reafon of any of the fame Promotions, Offices or Dignities.' XXXI.
