HERE AS feveral ill-affe£led Perfons, Subjects of the Crown o{ Great Britain, have lately, in open Defiance of the Laws, prefumed traiteroufly to lift divers of her Majefty's Subjedts within « the Kingdoms of Great Britain and Ireland, to ferve the Perfon pretended to be Prince of Wales, du- c ring the Life of the late King James the Second, and fince his Deceafe pretended to be, and taking upon himfelf the Stile and Title of King of England, by the Name of James the Third, as Soldiers to the ' great Difturbance of the Peace of thefe her Majefty's Kingdoms : And whereas the like traiterous Prac- ' tice may be more covertly carried on, under Pretence of lifting her Majefty's Subjefts to ferve as Soldiers ' under fome Foreign Prince, State or Potentate : For Remedy thereof,' Be it, ISc.
