Majefty, that it may be enacted, And be it enacted by the King's molt Excellent Majefty, by and with the Advice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this prefent Parliament; aflembled, and by the Authority of the fame, That out of fuch Monies as are or fhall he in the Receipt of the Exchequer of the SurplufTes, ExcefTes and Overplus Monies commonly called the Sinking Fund, arifen or to arife for the Half-year, ending at the Feaft of the Annunciation of the bleffed Virgin Mary which (hall be in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and twenty-four, or for any Time preceding the fame Feaft-day (fuch other Payments exclufive of the Principal Monies payable on the faid Exchequer-Bills, as have been directed to be made at or before the fame Feaft-Day by Authority of Par- liament, out of the faid SurplufTes, ExcefTes and Overplus Monies, always excepted and foreprized) there fhall be iffued, and paid, on or before the faid Feaft-Day of the Annunciation of the bleffed Virgin Mary 157,8071. 18 s. one thoufand feven hundred and twenty-four, the Sum of two hundred thirty-feven thoufand eight hun- ad. applied to dred and feven Pounds eighteen Shillings and four Pence, to the faid Cafhier of the Governor and Com- the : Redemption p an y f trie Bank f England, now or for the Time being, by way of Impreft and upon Account, toge- nnuities, c. ^^ w - lt ^ r muc j 1 n -, ore Monies, as on the faid laft mentioned Feaft-day fhall be due and in Arrear for the faid feveral and refpective Annuities, or any of them, to be by him applied and paid over for dis- charging the faid feveral remaining Capital Sums of two hundred and three thoufand eight hundred twenty-four Pounds five Shillings, thirty-one thoufand four hundred feventy-three Pounds thirteen Shil- lings and four Pence, and two thoufand five hundred and ten Pounds, and for redeeming the faid feveral and refpective Annuities attending thereon, and for difcharging all Arrears thereof; and that the faid Commifftoners of his Majefty's Treafury, or any three or more of them now being, or the High Trea- furer, or any three or more of the Commiffioners of the Treafury for the Time being, do caufe the fame to be iffued ajid paid to the faid Cafhier accordingly, without any further or other Warrant or Authority to be fued for, had or obtained in that Behalf; any former Law or Statute whatfoever to the contrary notwithftanding: And the faid Cafhier of the faid Governor and Company of the Bank of England is ■ here- by ftridtly enjoined and required to apply and pay over the Monies, which fhall be fo iffued to him as aforefaid, to fuch Perfon and Perfons, Body and Bodies Politick and Corporate, as at the Time of his Receipt of the fame fhall be entitled to the faid feveral and refpective Annuities now to be redeemed, ac- cording to fuch Interefts as they refpeclively fhall then have thereon. Application of II. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That out of fuch Monies as are or fhall be in Monies for Pay- the Receipt of the Exchequer, of the faid SurplufTes, ExcefTes or Overplus Monies, arifen or to arife for BientofPrmci- t ^e Half-year, ending at the Feaft-day of the Annunciation of the blefied Virgin Mary which fhall be in Pa Orders for the ^ ear of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and twenty-four, or for any Time preceding the fame Blank Lottery- Feaft-day (except as before is excepted) there fhall be iffued and paid, on or before the fame Feaft-day, Tickets, &c to the Paymafter or Paymafters of the faid Orders for Blank Lottery-Tickets for the Time being, fo much » more Money as, together with the Monies, which fhall then be in the Receipt of Exchequer, applicable to the Difcharge of the Principal and Intereft due on the fame Orders, fhall be fufKcient to fatisfy and pay off all the Principal and Intereft which on the fame Feaft-day fhall be due or in arrear on the fame Orders, by way of Impreft, and upon Account, to be by him applied and paid over for difcharging all the faid Principal and Intereft : And that the faid Commiffioners of his Majefty's Treafury, or any three or more of them now being, or the High Treafurer, or any three or more of the Commiffioners of the Treafury for the Time being, do caufe the fame to be iffued and paid to fuch Paymafter or Paymafters accordingly, without any further or other Warrant or Authority to be fued for, had or obtained in that Behalf; any former Law or Statute to the contrary notwithftanding. And the faid Paymafter or Pay- mafters is and are hereby ftrictly enjoined and required to apply and pay over the Monies which fhall be fo iffued to him or them as aforefaid, to fuch Perfon or Perfons, Body or Bodies Politick and Corporate, as fhall be entitled to the faid Blank Lottery- Orders, and the Principal and Intereft payable thereon, ac- cording to fuch Interefts as they fhall have refpecTrively therein. Sinking Fund HI. Provided always, and be it enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That from and after fuch IfTues applied. anr ] Payments to the faid Cafhier and Paymafter or Paymafters refpectively fhall be made, as herein before is directed, and fubject thereto, all the Reft and Refidue of Monies, arifen or to arife by or out of the faid SurplufTes, ExcefTes or Overplus Monies, commonly called the Sinking Fund, fhall go, conti- nue, remain, and be iffued and applied, to and for the fame Ufes, Intents and Purpofes, and in the fame Manner and Form as they were directed, applied or appropriated to by any former Act: or Acts of Par- liament, and none other; any Thing in this Act contained to the contrary notwithftanding. 15,1441. '9 s - IV. Provided neverthelefs, and be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That it fhall and may appropriated for De ] aw f u l to and for the Commiffioners of his Majefty's Treafury, or any three or more of them, or the ™ aklng P°° d , Lord High Treafurer for the Time being, out of any Monies arifen or to arife into the Receipt of his Ma- pened^in'the 2P jefty's Exchequer, of or for the faid SurplufTes, ExcefTes, or Overplus Monies commonly called the Sinking Treafm-y by the Fund, to allow to the Tellers of his Majefty's Exchequer any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding the Reduction of Sum of fifteen thoufand one hundred forty-four Pounds nineteen Shillings, to fatisfy and make good the ■ Guineas, &c. Lofs and Deficiency which happened in the Treafure remaining in the Offices of the four Tellers of the Receipt of his Majefty's Exchequer, by the Reduction of Guineas from one and twenty Shillings and fix Pence to one and twenty Shillings; any Thing in this or any former Act or Acts of Parliament to the contrary notwithftanding. Relief granted V. And wereas all the Real and Perfonal Eftate oiGcorge Collingwood, attainted of High Treafon, was to Catherine by one or more Act or Acts of Parliament vefted in Tru'tees, to be fold for the Ufe of the Publick, and Collingwood, by Sale thereof, and the Rents and Profits received before the fame was fold, the Sum of eighteen thou- Yv'idow, &c. f an j one h un dred Pounds hath been raifed, and the grcateft Part thereof hath been fince paid into the 3 Receipt
