AS of the laft SelTu.n for converting An- jiuitles into a Joint Stock. at the Bank of England, to be charged on the Sinking Fund; and alfo for confoUdating the feveral other Annui- ties therein juentioned into feveral Joint Stocks of Annuities, transferrable at the South-Sea Houfe) Books were dire£ted to be prepared for receiving the Subfcription or Confent of fuch of the Proprietors of feveral Annuities, after the Rate of three Pounds per Centum per Amium, as fhould fubfcribe the fame into the Joint Stock of Annuities, in the faid A£l delcribed, at any, Time between the twenty-fourth Day oi June one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-two, and the fifth Day oi January one thoufand kei hundred and fifty-three inclufive, and no longer : And whereas the greateft Part of the faid Annuities hath been fub- fcribed accordingly ; and fome of the Proprietors of fuch Part of the faid Annuities as remain unfub- fcribed, may be defirous that the Time for fuch Subfcription fhould be enlarged, which will alfo be of Advantage to the Publick ;' Be it cnafted by the Authority aforefaid. That the Governor and Company Books tobekeptof the Bank of England fhall caufe fuch Books as have been prepared according to the DireiStions of the open at the faid Adt, for receiving the Subfcription of the Proprietors of the faid Annuities into the faid Joint Stock Bank for lecei- of Annuities, to be kept open at the Bank of England for that Purpofe, in fuch Manner as by the faid Act ti'ons to -ai '^ direiSfed, to the fifth Day oi April one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-three inclufive, being the Time J, J,. ^ limited by the faid Aft for the Subfcription of other Annuities after the Rate of three Pounds ten !; hillings per Centum per Annum ; and fuch Proprietors of the faid Annuities, after the Rate of three Pounds per Centu7n per Annum, as have not already fubfcribed the fame into the faid Joint Stock of Annuities, their refpeftive Attornies, Reprefentatives or Affigns, and all Perfons authorized by the faid A6t to fubfcribe for them before the faid fifth Day oifjanuary one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-three, fhall ha'e Power to make fuch Subfcription without Fee or Charge at any Time before the faid fifth Day of April one thou- fand feven hundred and fifty-three; and fuch Subfcription fhall be as valid and ehectual to all Intents and Purpofes, as if the lame had been made before the faid fifth Day oi January one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-three.
